Tri-Art Sludge Acrylic Gesso comes in a container of 3.78 ml. capacity and is made with 100% acrylic emulsion. Paint can be easily applied with the help of variety of painting tools. Paint is highly adhesive to different forms of surfaces and dries to a water-resistant semi-gloss finish. Paint is an economical alternative to both a neutral ground and neutral color. Sludge can be used in place of gesso when a muted base is desired. Sludge is semi-opaque, although gray in tone and can be used in small quantities as an pacifier or medium-toned color extender. Because of the presence of high quantity solid particulate in the paint, sludge has a light tooth that also makes it a suitable ground for different media applications.
