For operators of Sony's HVR series camcorders, the P-V284 V-Plate features dual 2-Pin D-Taps - one 2-Pin D-Tap serves as the 8.4V regulated connection and a second 2-Pin D-Tap is included for optional accessory power - its unregulated battery throughput voltage output can be as high as 16.8V with IDX Li-Ion batteries.

• It can be combined with C-SONC cable to power sony HVR series cameras
