A very dense, yet extremely light weight pad that will provide a great deal of protection for even the most sensitive of horse''s backs. Wool felt/foam sandwich pad is a great durable working pad and is 1 inch thick and finished with cut back for wither relief and wear leathers with girth cutout. Made from.25 Layers of high quality, soft, dense felt are bonded to a.25 Rubberized core. The cut back measures 10 in length and 2 in depth. Over the spine there is 1, 7 inch x 1 inch hole and 5, 1 inch round holes cut through the pad to promote circulation of air. The wear leathers are of an extremely durable synthetic material. These are 24 in length and are 4.5 Wide. At the front edge of the pad where the wear patches begin, the patches are 6inches. There is a slightly tapering 4.5 x 3 cut out for the cinch on either side under the wear leathers.
