This converter was designed for the 24 valve ISB engine. The 44 series converter stalls approx 1800 RPM. This converter will have nominal effects on 24 valve spool up and pull hard during fluid coupling mode. This converter incorporates a steel CNC machined billet cover and piston, hardened steel turbine hub with reinforced mounting, Torrington bearings at front and rear of stator, furnace brazed impeller, billet CNC machined radial pull stator, with triple clutch discs.
