Hypertech street runner power chips replace your stock prom, which holds the settings for fuel flow and spark advance. This is a stage 1 chip that improves the spark and fuel curves for better performance. It provides max power at wide-open throttle but does not affect the idle or part-throttle settings. This means your mileage and emissions aren't affected. The street runner power chip is designed for use on a stock vehicle using premium pump gas (91 octane or better).
