Enjoy crystal clear water while saving time & money. Orb-3 DropOut is the perfect tool for quickly & cost-effectively reducing high phosphate levels (>750ppb) in your pool without impacting pH. Why phosphates? As a nutrient for algae, phosphates come from a variety of sources including swimmers & water you add to your pool, so its important to test for & treat them regularly. If there are no phosphates in the water, there can be no algae growth.

Mix Orb-3 DropOut in a bucket with a gallon of pool water, and spread around the pool as evenly as possible. It is safe to enjoy the pool immediately after use. Do not put other chemicals directly in the bucket with Orb-3 DropOut. Monitor and maintain normal back pressure levels in the pool filter. If a cloud begins to form, turn off pool filter while product works throughout the pool water. After 12 to 24 hours, vacuum the cloudy water to waste. Then restart pool filter to remove what remains. Continue to monitor and maintain normal back pressure levels in the pool filter.

• For a 3000ppb reduction, apply 32 ounces per 10,000 gallons of pool capacity for a 1500ppb reduction, apply 16 ounces per 10,000 gallons of pool capacity etc

• Kill the algae first using a high quality algaecide (Orb-3 DropOut prevents algae growth - in essence starving it - however it is not an algaecide). Once the algae are dead, treat with Orb-3 DropOut. Carefully monitor & maintain sanitizer levels & filter pressure during this time. Once the water tests below 750ppb of phosphate, begin treating regularly with Orb-3 PRA & Enzymes Maintenance to preserve low phosphate levels
