Product Description
Features
- Dissipative Dual Layer Rubber Material
Provides a work surface that does not generate a static charge and will control the discharge rate from all conductors (including ESD susceptible items) that are placed on the surface.
- Color (1 x 106 to< 1 x 109 ohms Rtt) Top Layer
Meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 work surface required limit and recommendation of ANSI / ESD S4.1 for contact with ESD susceptible items. Electrical will not drift for the life of the mat.
- Black Side (<1 x 104 Rtt) Bottom Layer
The dedicated conductive layer reduces the resistance to ground (Rtg) from the top of the surface to the groundable point ground and allows the mats to be used with ESD workstation monitors. Electrical will not drift for the life of the mat.
- High Strength Nitrile Rubber Compound
Designed to withstand abrasion, stretching, and tearing and may be used in soldering applications with flux and other chemicals.
- Ultraviolet (UV) Stabilizer Additives
Stabilizes color retention, insures ESD performance over time and eliminates surface layer deterioration resulting in cracking when the product is flexed.
Provides consistent electrical performance regardless of ambient humidity
- Lot Traceability Information
Provides tracking information for lifespan of the product and to ensure quality control.

- Dimension - 0.06 x 24 x 48 in.
WarningsThe most important functional consideration for work surfaces is the RTG resistance from the top of the surface to the groundable point. ANSI / ESD S20.20 Table 1 recommends a requirement of less than 1 x 10E9 ohms. If Charged Device Model damage is a concern then setting a lower resistance limit should be considered. Typically, 1 x 10E6 ohms. Durability factors that should be considered are hardness, abrasion resistance, tear resistance, etc. Work surfaces may require special heat resistant materials. Light reflection may be an important ergonomic consideration.
